Acesulfame Potasium occurs as a white, free-flowing cystalline powder. The pH of Acesulfame K solution is between about 5.5 and 7.5. It is freely soluble in water and very slightly soluble in ethanol. It approximately 200 times sweeter than sucrose (in 3% solution)
